The path from school to a sustainable creative career rarely follows a straight line.
Projects come and go. Momentum rises and falls. Much of the work happens alone.
Fast Forward Collective Peer Groups are designed to bring creatives together so they can navigate the journey with peers instead of isolation.

What is a Fast Forward Collective Peer Group?
A Peer Group is a small circle of creatives who meet regularly to support each other’s career progress.
Each group includes about 6–8 creatives at similar stages of their journey.
Together they:
• share goals and progress
• discuss challenges and industry realities
• review portfolios and projects
• exchange opportunities and resources
It is not a class. It is not individual coaching.
It is a professional peer circle moving forward together.
Why Do Peer Groups Work?
Peer groups are widely used by entrepreneurs, executives, and professionals because they create three things that are hard to maintain alone:
Consistency
Regular meetings help maintain forward motion during unpredictable career phases.
Perspective
Peers facing similar challenges offer practical insight and encouragement.
Momentum
Seeing others continue moving forward helps sustain motivation during the long middle of creative careers.
In creative industries, where careers grow through persistence and relationships, community often makes the difference.
Our Pilot Cohort
We have launched a small pilot of coached peer groups to learn what works best for creatives building their careers.
Only a limited number of groups will form in this first cohort, each with a small number of participants.
Those who join will help shape how the peer groups evolve within Fast Forward Collective and how we can better support creatives, and creatives one another, in the years ahead.
In many ways, the members of these first cohorts become the founders of the Fast Forward Collective community.
Who This is For
Creatives who are on the postgraduate career development path and may be:
• building portfolios
• searching for their first industry role
• freelancing or working on projects
• continuing their path in the field
