THE TRANSITION NOBODY REALLY PREPARES FOR
Creative school ends eventually.
Their creative development shouldn’t.
Creative education builds craft, discipline, and ambition. The transition into a sustainable creative life is far less structured as work, money, relationships, and ordinary life begin to overlap.
School structure eventually changes or disappears.
Deadlines, critique, professors, classmates, and built-in accountability become less available or vanish altogether.
Financial pressure arrives.
Many creatives take jobs outside their intended field simply because they need income now.
Career work slides downward.
Portfolio, outreach, relationship-building, and practice become “when I have time” activities.
Fast Forward provides continuity.
A steady place, practical next steps, and a longer runway through the transition.
The problem often isn’t talent or ambition.
It’s keeping the creative career alive when
work, bills, relationships, and ordinary life start competing for attention.
HOW FAST FORWARD FIVE WORKS
Two five-year runways now.
200 more when we reach 100.
The contribution works in two layers: immediate support for two creatives, plus a shared threshold that can expand the founding community dramatically.
1
You Contribute $500
You immediately fund two five-year memberships: one for a creative you choose and one five-year Fast Forward scholarship for another emerging creative.
2
You give one 5-year pass.
You choose the creative. Their five-year term begins when they activate Fast Forward Five, while Fast Forward independently awards the scholarship seat.
3
Help us reach 100.
Every Founding Supporter moves the campaign closer to the threshold that releases the $50,000 challenge grant.
4
Unlock 200 more.
When the threshold is reached, Fast Forward uses the challenge grant to fund 200 additional five-year scholarship memberships.
At 100 Founding Supporters, the $50,000 challenge grant is released to fund 200 additional 5-year scholarships.

FROM THE FAST FORWARD COMMUNITY
Real voices from the creative journey.
Students, graduates, and supporters describe the transition Fast Forward is designed to support.
Brayden T. - current student
“I don’t want to wait until I graduate to get started on my career. I want to understand how the professional world works. I want to start building relationships, career awareness, and useful habits while school still gives me time.”
Theresa R. - recent graduate
“After graduation, the hard part isn’t knowing that I should keep making work, meeting people, and looking for opportunities. It’s having some kind of structure and crew that help me figure out how and to keep all of those things moving.”
Chris F. - parent / supporter
“I had the usual reaction to ‘art school’ as many adults. I knew my kid wanted it badly though and he put in the work. When school ended, he was adrift. I understood how to support him in school. What’s harder is knowing what helpful support looks like once the path becomes less structured and their creative career has to develop in the real world.”
STAGE NOT AGE
Start before graduation.
Continue after it.
Fast Forward Five meets a creative where they are now and
changes emphasis as they progress.
DISCOVER
In School
Build career foundations before graduation pressure arrives: learn to spot real opportunities, map studios and career paths, begin building an owned creative community, and develop professional habits while school still provides structure.
DEVELOPING
In school
Strengthen skills, creative voice, work, and proof. Learn to present your work professionally, document progress, build stronger portfolio evidence, and connect what you are learning in school to the kinds of work and opportunities you want later.
APPROACHING
GRADUATION
Map target organizations and the people behind them, sharpen portfolio positioning, build relationships, strengthen professional visibility, and establish an outreach and career-development rhythm before the structure of school disappears.
TAKE OFF!
After graduation
Keep the creative career moving through jobs, freelance work, changing direction, and ordinary life. Continue making, learning, building relationships, staying visible, finding opportunities, and developing multiple paths toward sustainable creative work.
Graduation is not the boundary. The creative journey is.

Questions Parents Ask
Fast Forward Five FAQ
Is this only for recent graduates?
No. It is designed for multiple stages of the creative journey, including matriculating students, graduating seniors, recent graduates, emerging creatives, and people beginning or returning to a creative career later in life.
When does the five year period begin?
The five-year term begins when the creative activates the pass, not when the supporter purchases it.
Can I give this as a gift?
Yes. The supporter purchases the pass and the creative activates and owns the membership experience.
What happens after I contribute the $500?
After checkout, you’ll receive simple instructions for giving or sending the Fast Forward Five pass to your creative. Their five-year term begins when they activate it. Fast Forward separately awards the five-year scholarship funded by your contribution. If the creative you originally chose decides not to activate the pass, you can transfer it to another eligible creative or release it back to Fast Forward as an additional scholarship.
Will I be able to monitor what they are doing?
No. Supporters receive separate guidance designed to help them support a creative effectively, but the creative’s community participation and individual activity remain private.
Does 'All Access' mean everything Fast Forward will offer?
No. The founding pass includes the core Fast Forward digital career-development system and included Fast Forward-produced core resources. Certain future premium offerings may be priced separately.
Why would they start this while still in school?
Because some of the most important career foundations are easier to build before graduation pressure arrives. While school still provides structure, they can learn to identify real opportunities, map studios and career paths, build relationships, develop portfolio evidence, begin creating an owned professional community, and establish the habits that make the eventual transition into creative work much less abrupt. The goal is not to start the job search early. It is to arrive at graduation with less of their transition to a creative career left to build.
How does the Founding 100 Challenge work?
Every $500 contribution immediately funds two five-year memberships. When Fast Forward reaches 100 Founding Supporters, a founding donor releases a $50,000 challenge grant. Fast Forward will use that grant to fund 200 additional five-year scholarships. The goal of the Founding 100 launch program is to jump start the Collective with critical mass of 400 members.
Who chooses the scholarship recipient?
Fast Forward does. The supporter may designate the first creative, but Fast Forward retains control and discretion over the immediate scholarship membership and any additional scholarships funded by the challenge grant.
Why is the price $500?
Fast Forward's current planned future monthly all-access membership rate is $47 per month. At that rate, five years would total $2,820. The Founding 100 locks in five years for $500 once — less than the planned cost of one future year at $47 per month. The founding price also serves another purpose: helping Fast Forward build enough critical mass for the community itself to become valuable. Creative careers are easier to sustain when people are not navigating them alone. A larger founding community means more peers sharing leads, ideas, encouragement, introductions, experience, and momentum with one another. We want the first cohort to be large enough that members can genuinely help each other move forward. The $47 monthly rate is still a planning assumption and may change before future membership pricing is formally launched.
How does my $500 contribution support Fast Forward?
Each $500 supporter contribution immediately creates two five-year memberships — one for the creative the supporter chooses and one five-year scholarship for another emerging creative. Just as importantly, every new member helps Fast Forward build the critical mass that makes the community itself more valuable. More creatives means more peers sharing leads, introductions, experience, ideas, encouragement, and momentum with one another. Reaching 100 Founding Supporters also releases the $50,000 challenge grant for 200 additional scholarships, while helping sustain the publications, career tools, community infrastructure, and practical supports that make the entire system possible.
Is my $500 tax deductible?
Fast Forward is a nonprofit, but this founding offer includes a substantial program benefit for a creative designated by the supporter. We are not representing the $500 payment as tax-deductible at launch. Any future tax treatment or charitable-deduction language will be based on professional nonprofit accounting and legal guidance.
Why is this a founding offer?
Fast Forward is launching and evolving with its earliest members. The $500 five-year pass reflects that early stage, while also helping us build enough critical mass for the community itself to become more useful — more peers, more shared experience, more introductions, more opportunities, and more momentum. Founding members are not just joining early. They are helping shape the system and establish the first meaningful Fast Forward community. Future pricing, term lengths, and membership structures may change; founding purchasers keep the terms under which they purchased.
